State of Denial of my Gujarati bhai

November 14th, 2009 by tapsboy

I am a proud gujarati, who occasionally feels ashamed when reminded of what happened in 2002. As a resident of Ahmedabad during those horrible days, I am fully “authorised” to speak my mind and thoughts on it.

This website, www.gujaratriots.com, represents the “state of denial” of many of my folks in Gujarat. This website looks to be created with the agenda of “rewriting the history” probably funded by well-wishers of the “honourable CM”. I certainly admire him for his non-corrupt, pro-development leadership style, which some like Nandy see as a dangerous trend. Everyone knows the truth about what the CM did in 2002

I have a clear message to owners of this website: “Have some shame……….Don’t deny what the murderers did. Every single resident of gujarat knows the truth. Whom are you trying to fool? There is absolutely no difference between the Pakistanis, who are in a continuous state of denial of their own terrorist activities and you. Do a little service to humanity by bringing the actual “real truth” instead of the truth that you are trying to create through this website. Atleast fear God and Karma, if you believe in it.”

Well tapan- I am the author of that website. This is a fake name. You say we should have shame? Well- we are open for correction. Put in your arguments. Accept our challenge. We will close down the site. It is quite easy to abuse- and call us as bad as ‘Pakistanis’. Actually – it is you who should have shame. Instead of logically refuting our arguments- you are simply asking us to have shame. Correct us. Prove us wrong. Bring your evidence. We will debate. Contact us at admin@gujaratriots.com See our challenge and refute us:

@rajesh As for logical arguments, I had put some on your site, which were never responded to. For evidence, I am not sitting inside Nanavati commission to get the evidence. If you strongly believe in what you think, atleast have the courage to write a real name (not a fake one).

Like you expressed your defense of Narendra Modi, I have a right to accuse him for the failings. The truth is out there in open. Every single person in Gujarat knows what has happened and how it happened. I am NOT denying that fact of Godhra train burning or thinking that it was some conspiracy.

The whole bunch of people, who did that crime should be punished by law even if that number is really large. But so also the ones who rioted post-Godhra, so should all those responsible for anti-sikh riots or the maoists, who kill innocent people and the terrorists. I am a super-patriot, who strongly believes in law of the land. No CM, state or religion should be able to over-ride that.

Just come out of the denial mode, have the courage to face the fact, that someone who is really doing good for Gujarat, was once responsible for the lives lost (directly or indirectly)

You still have not said exactly what is wrong. PIN POINT exactly wrong information is given and in which catagory. Nowhere is it denied that 790 Muslims were killed in the riots. There is a special chapter called “Attacks on Muslims” which is devoted fully to Muslim victims in the riots- like in Naroda Patiya, Chamanpura, Sadarpar etc.

Which of your point was not answered?
A state of denial would be of those who deny that Muslims were killed in retaliatory riots- or that no retaliation ever took place. We have never said that. As for Narendra Modi’s involvement- the site contains material showing that he- far from being culpable- actually did very well. If you think that is incorrect- you are fully within your rights to feel that he is culpable- even if you dont have evidence to refute us. But it is incorrect to say that we are in a state-of-denial. Actually- I think it is you you are in a state of denial- even though you have presneted your evidence on a single point made by us by emailing at admin@gujaratriots.com you are actually equating us with Pakistanis and calling us shameless.
Shameless are those who deny the holocaust of Jews (Like Iran President) and other Muslims, those who deny that Muslims did 9/11 and instead blame Jews for it, those who blame Godhra on VHP.

  4. Rajesh Nayak Says:

Correction- you have NOT presented any evidence on a single point made by us.
Narendra Modi- far from being responsible for killing of innocents- is responsible for SAVING LIVES of innocents- like in Sanjeli, Bodeli, Viramgam areas of Gujarat where 17,500 Muslims were saved. In Dahod- 2,000 Muslims were saved.
